Took this last night. This morning, it's snowing like crazy, well maybe not as crazy some places. But to people in Greater Vancouver, BC, we are tolerable to rain than snow :)

Oh boy.. were we zapped by the white stuff on Sunday and more will fall today. :(

More snow is forecasted today and then it turns to rain tomorrow. Boy, are we going to get tons of slush. Urgh.

Managed to squeeze a SP with a firetruck!! :)

Played with levels and like this result. Lomo-like I think. But now that I view it in Pbase, the colours aren't as saturated in Photoshop especially the reds. Strange.

Continuing my "beautiful day, beautiful life" autumn pics. I don't like that dark blob at the corner but I could't find a way out of it in post-processing other than cropping most of it out. I didn't remember seeing that dry leaf when I was shooting. :(

Fall

Can't believe the tons of leaves that had fallen on the ground. Yesterday was like an unbelievable blue skies & warm autumn day. It was supposed to rain - don't know how local forecaster screwed up a 12 hour in advance weather forecast. We went to a local park yesterday and while my kids are running all over the place and my husband trying to get them to just play within the perimeter (reminds of a dog and its sheeps, LOL!), I quickly took a shot of the sunlight on the ground.

Rain & Fall

Picked up a maple leaf while walking the dog in the rain. Back home, played around shooting in macro. I quite like this one.

Glow

Tried with another kind of leaves today. I wish I'm good at extracting the main object and moving it to another different background. Most of them, you can see it's a fake background.. groan. So I gave up on it and decided to just crop off some parts of the pic and rotate the pic a bit.

Beautiful weather we are having here yesterday and today. I hope to shoot something different today other than trees and leaves. Fingers crossed.
