Kaeng krachan National Park was establised in 1981 as the 28th national park in Thailand.
It is the largest national park in Thailand with 2,915 sq kilometers of forest in the watersheds
of the Phechaburi and Pranburi river. The park includes a reservoir lake, waterfall, caves and
mountains. It is almost entirly covered with evergreen forest. The wildlife includes many species
of birds and animals. This is a wonderful place for birding.
