2010 0917 Beijing – Din Tai Fung Dumpling @ Shin Kwong Place

September 17 (Friday): Shin Kwong Place (新光天地) - Din Tai Fung Dumpling House (鼎泰豐)

The weather turned ‘bad’ with occasional showers and the temperature dropped from 28 to 20 or lower. So we cancelled our plan taking the new bullet train to Tianjin (天津). Instead we took a taxi to the Shin Kwong Place (新光天地) around 11:00. After an hour of window shopping we lunched at the Din Tai Fung Dumpling House (鼎泰豐). Well the dumplings are so so. After lunch my wife went to the China World Shopping Arcades (國貿) and I returned to Ascott for a dip at swimming pool (3rd floor and I was the only swimmer) for 45 minutes. For dinner we patronised again the Yuxiang Kitchen.
