Day 2 (Sunday): Putuo Zongcheng Temple (普陀宗乘之廟)
At 09:00 we headed for (also 15-minute coach ride) the Putuo Zongcheng Temple (普陀宗乘之廟又稱為小布達拉宮), built to resemble the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. We spent over two hours there and the place got quite a few interesting spots. After checking out from the hotel before noon we’d lunch at a Village Style Restaurant (農家菜). We arrived back in Beijing around 16:30. For dinner we finished the luncheon doggie bags.
