2007 06 Oregon - Grotto Church, Portland

Besides the grotto church, there’s the famed wax statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a sorrowful left face and a joyful right side. You needed to take a paid per ride elevator (US$3.5??) to see the statue as well as the Peace Garden and the panoramic view of Portland.

Since I joined a tour to visit the grotto church so I'm in no position to give you direction. I assume though you can take a cab or other public transportation since the church is one of the landmarks in Portland.
