Dr. Robert Maki at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC.http://www.mskcc.org/prg/prg/bios/537.cfm

I am a medical oncologist and Co-Leader of the Soft-Tissue Sarcoma Disease Management Team. I have a special interest in new therapies for the treatment of soft-tissue and bone sarcomas. My attention is focused on new drugs to treat metastatic disease. In particular, I am investigating new drugs to attack novel molecular targets for this rare and varied group of more than 50 types of cancer. I am also trying to develop vaccines against sarcomas that "teach" the immune system to attack tumor cells but not normal cells.
