Mural opposite the Deli, State College, PA

State College is a town in Central Pennsylvania, home to one of the largest universities in the US,
Pennsylvania State University or Penn State. The town was established in 1855 mainly growing with
the university. The university itself lies in University Park, with a separate zip code. In 1953,
the President of the university Milton S. Eisenhower tried to get the town's name changed from
State College, but failed. Later University Park was granted a separate zip code by President
Dwight D. Eisenhower, the elder brother of Milton Eisenhower.

This is a mural that is painted in downtown State College. It stretches for a whole block and in a way immortalizes every famous person from State College and Penn State. You can see Joe Paterno in the center of the painting as well as Prof. C.R.Rao in the top left corner.
