Thon is not just a dance marathon. It is not just a bunch of people having fun. Last weekend it opened my eyes to what it really is. Providing another chance for kids, a grass in the jungle of cancer, but the tallest one, an event that brings into focus the importance of charity as no other. As someone said that day, it is an honor to be associated with Thon, and all the dancers and volunteers should feel proud.

This year THON raised over 5 million dollars for children with cancer. It is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world.
