This annual market occurs during the days before the Sukkot holiday and here people select, examine, negotiate & purchase the 4 species typical to Israel of old times, that are traditionally being blessed in the Sukka (booth): an etrog (a citrus fruit native to Israel), a palm branch (in Hebrew, lulav), two willow branches (arava) and three myrtle branches (hadas).
