The Orthodox Hassidic Jews maintain this complex of rooms in the basement of an unassuming parking garage, unused throughout the year, ready & clean just for the short occasion of preparing special Matza bread (Matza Shmura of Mitzva) once a year just before Passover begins. That's why it is so expensive: 100-150 NIS for 3 Matzas, averaging around US$10 a piece. The special guest on 2004 was Rabby Lau, formerly the chief Rabby of Israel, today again the chief Rabbi of Tel-Aviv (2005), who was honored in participating the ceremony.
