US Patriot, I'd like to add onto what was just said. You claim the USA as your own country but as it has already been said by the Guest, you are an immigrant in North America. Furthermore, "YOUR" whole nation has been built on immigrants' backs. The slaves from Africa worked with cotton. Now, the illegal Mexican immigrants do all the dirty work that none of you whites are willing to do. They are the garbagemen down the street, the sweatshop labourours who work for pennies, so that you can wear your designer clothes for cheaper. Please, rethink your comment, your country would still be Native American without immigrants, just like YOU!

US Patriot, How did this become 'your' country? Just curious, where are your ancestors from? Unless you are Native American, I'm pretty sure your family immigrated here too. What if someone had forced them back? Rethink your bigotry. It will do you and the rest of us good.

The United States needs to build a wall like this on the Mexican border to keep illegal invaders out of our country. Americans are sick and tired of this migration. No other nation tolerates this sort of invasion. Why should the US.? Illegals and foreign invaders, stay out of our country!!! Stay in your own country!!!

To the guest below:

Maybe, before you accuse me of misleading captions you can look at this place from other angles:

and in http://www.pbase.com/image/24192523 you can see the route of the fence twisting

This image is not powerful, despite brainless people saying so. The caption tells us something that the image does not show. The wall is seperating the kid from the village? there's absolutely no way to tell, but instead we have to trust the intentions of the caption, which could very well be misleading. This is a GREAT example of the press and how it can distort the truth, and how the brianless public are willing to believe anything they hear.

This is an incredibly powerful image, especially when taken in context of the rest of the gallery. Thank you so much Eyal Dor-Ofer for your work as a photojournalist. I am sharing links to your galleries with as many people as I can, I wish more people could see these galleries and get a feel for the situation. This picture for one, gives me a desire for peace more than anything else. Of course, while for me peace = no war, other people may think the only way to achieve peace is through war. But a maker of war should see the face of the children who suffer on account of the war. Another one of your galleries, the coming together of Israelis and Palestenians is incredibly powerful in this context. If they can do it, why can't the rest of us? Thank you, may your work continue to be a blessing for all of the people in this world.

A believer,
Mateo

Darren,

There is a big difference between having a border fence and between the route of the fence.

This wall, separates this child, Ischak, from the rest of his village.

Little palestinian boys are brainwashed by the
media and fanatic Islam to grow up as martyrs.
Little must we wonder why these fences are
therefore neccesary when Israel is the frontier
of the Western world's battle against such terror.
