I lived there in the early 1940's. There were 4 apartments. My bedroom was the room where the main entranceway is now located. We called the house simply "The Huber House". The house with 10 acres was offered to my step-father, Steve Knight, for $4000. dollars. A large sum during those war years. I was able to tour the house several years ago. It's an exceptionally beautiful home.

Known as "The Magnolias" belonged to my grandparents Dr. and Mrs. Otho Messer from 1950 to 1990. i spent many wonderfully happy years in this house. It's so wonderful to see that it's been kept up because it's history means so much to Crystal Springs
