This is a lightweight (240g) teleconverter lens that brings the D7 to 300 mm with very little vignetting.

thanks... i will try it.. i have been looking for the best lense to use on my Dimage 7i.. as you know minolta will not endorse any type of telephoto lens for the product..thanks again

The only attachment required for the Raynox 1540 Pro is the 49mm to 52mm adaptor ring (Raynox model R5249). As far as I know, all of the D7 series lenses are the same. Ray

did you use any special attachment for the lense? Would it also fit on the 7i? i am not aware of any differences in lense design??
