The Fort Worth Zoo is the oldest continuous zoo in Texas. Established in 1909 with one lion, two bear cubs, an alligator, a coyote, a peacock and a few rabbits. I fondly remember going to this zoo when I was younger growing up in Arlington. The Fort Worth Zoo is a must see in the Dallas Fort Worth area especially for photographers.
