I found this church on Texas Farm to Market Road 600 in South Haskell - North Jones County.
The building was started in 1939. The cornerstone was laid in 1940. Construction halted during WW II and started anew in 1946. All of the stone came from church property except buttress caps, window sills, and the white stone alter, which came from the Lueders quarry six miles away.
The Gothic-type structure was lovingly built with labor and money donated by the members of the congregation.
