Photos are beautiful!!! Sadly though, Chalkridge no longer looks like this. After the storm 2 years ago, the suspension bridge was washed away. The debris is still polluting the water. Also, people have left more trash that I have ever seen before and the frigid spring fed creek is low and the normally great floor of the creek is now covered with nasty green algae. What happened? I was out there yesterday for the first time this summer and it broke my heart. This place was once so nice.
