xon. first of all, there is no dumb questions, pbase can be very confusing, in the forum castledude was very rude. Most digital camera's stamp the camera information into the photo and it should show up when you download the picture, if you are using a 35 mm camera or scanning your photo, that information will not show up. One thing you can do is go to "Edit Gallery" and scroll down to "Batch update selected images in this gallery"
input the camera informtion, and them update images. you may have to do this for each gallery because I didn't see it in the "edit root gallery" screen. The popular gallery is based on votes for your galleries or photos at the bottom of each gallery or photo, you should see a vote for button. only other supporters can vote and if your not logged into your account you may not see this either.
