Small but quite nice annual car show held at Central Park, La Palma, CA. Sunday Sept. 26, 2004. 100+ photos below
All photos uploaded in much reduced size and quality. All photos strictly Copyright 2004 Ken Leonard. Feel free to view online and share these online photos with your friends but please DO NOT print.
Highest quality 90 year archival 8 1/2 X 11 edge to edge prints printed on state of the art 7 color printer on the best paper available for $10 each plus shipping if applicable. Originals are from an 8 MP Nikon camera. Printed files are from a 22 Meg PS file. By comparison the photos here are 640 X 480 at quality 4 (out of 12) and are typically less than 200K.
Thank you for the kind comments and suggestion. One has to realize that owners of classic cars often have as much (or more) to see under the hood as the car itself. Those that have the hood raised are quite proud of their engines obviously. When shooting a massive car show such as Cruisin' for a cure where I may take upwards of 900 shots in a day there is just not time to hunt down the owner and ask them to close their hood. Don't get me wrong. when possible if the owner is at hand I will ask them to close their hood. Often times the owner will ask me if I want the hood closed. Ideally I like to take the car both with hood raised and down as well as a shot of the engine itself. I will be sure to check out your shots.

I check your albums all the time. Really like your pics and car show events. I have some car albums in webshots.com. My member name is icecastle57. I work hard at taking pics with the hoods down. Most people don't mind closing the hood for a picture.Your pics would be nice with the hoods down,in my humble opinion. Keep up the good work!
