1958 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Convertible....."Oldsmobility" was the phrase used in Olds advertising in magazines and on television....."There's no mobility like Oldsmobility in the 1958 Oldsmobile!" was the song zingle in TV commercials. Patti Page was sponsored by Oldsmobile and there was a wonderful magazine ad featuring Miss Paige with a baby blue Olds 88 convertible. Harley Earl lavished large amounts of chrome on the entire GM lineup for 1958 and Olds was no exception. It was a "Chromemobile" what am!!!!!!!!!
