1961 Ford Falcon. First introduced in 1960, the '61 only had minor trim changes. Ford came close to selling a half million of these cars in its introductory year. The Charles Schulz Peanuts characters were featured prominently in Falcon ads of this era. My Dad owned two Falcons and they proved to be very economical dependable cars at a hard to beat price of around $ 2,000.
