1952 Studebaker Champion Starlight Coupe. The last makeover of the first post war design. In 1952 Studebaker dropped the Bullet Nose Motif from 1950-1951 in favor of a new grille design, often referred to as the "Clam Digger" Grille. Also, this was the last year for the Starlight Coupe design, featuring a wraparound greenhouse from B-Pillar to B-Pillar. 1952 would see the introduction of a new pillarless hardtop coupe called " the Starliner". It was available in both 6 cylinder Champion and 8 cylinder top of the line Commander series models.
