I have a same vehicle in restorable condition. Have had the car since 1984 and was going to use it as a project car, but never happened. Would like to sell it now. Is anyone interested? runsworth1485@msn.com

beautifull car. i really like the paint and wheels. i have a 63 comet 4 door im getting ready to paint. i was thinking a darkish marrone, yellow or black. i love the look of the 63 comet and the tail fins and big front bumper. mine has a 170 but ive rebuilt it with a .040 overbore and i put a head from a 200 on it and have 2.5 inch exhaust with a cherry bomb out the side. now just need paint and some wheeles and tires and itll be a perfect car

Does anyone know the size of the tires and wheels on this car? I just bought a 63 Comet and these wheels look perfect. LVS12Dave@live.com

I bought a 1993 Comet SR22 Two Door Hardtop when they first came out. Geez, it had the lines I loved. The one I had had the three small stoplights in the rear instead the two light. Mine had the 6 cylinder engine cause that's all they offered from the announcement time. Mine had the red vinyl interior. I loved the car until my family outgrew it. I wish I had it back.. It was a "head turner" for sure..

1963 Mercury Comet SR-22 Two-Door Hardtop. "Fastback" Hardtop styling was introduced in mid model year on Ford Motor Company's successful new compacts, the Ford Falcon and the Mercury Comet. The SR-22 Comet Hardtop was the more "sporty" version of the Comet Hardtop featuring the new and wildly popular "bucket seats" first introduced by Chevrolet's sporty compact Corvair Monza.
