This car is exactly like mine, except that I have a factory installed hood ornament and Silvercrest top with black enamel paint.

1959 Imperial Hardtop Sedan. In 1959 Imperial switched from HEMI to wedgehead V-8's, a 350 horsepower 413 cubic inch engine it shared with that year's Chrysler New Yorker. Imperial was in its fourth year as a separate marque, and for the first time since its exception outsold Lincoln in the luxury car field with production of around 17,000. The 59's were basically an extensive facelift of the Virgil Exner '57 model that proved to be so popular, featuring sleek, long, low, finned styling, a toothy grille, and broad brush-finished appliques on the lower rear flanks. Imperials were offered in Custom, Crown, and LeBaron series, and ranged in price from $ 4,910, for a Custom Southampton Hardtop Coupe , to $ 6,103 for a LeBaron Southhampton Hardtop Sedan. All three series rode a 129 inch wheelbase, but seven Crown Imperial Limosines were built on a 149.5 inch wheelbase at a rather steep price of $ 15,075, more than twice the cost of the top of the line Lebaron Southhampton Hardtop Sedan.
