This is what the sign from Petersen Automotive Museum says about this car: 1957 Lincoln Premier. Originally owned by Jayne Mansfield (actress). This 1957 Premiere was mildly restyled version of the award-winner 1956 model, exep;ified by more prominent tail-fins and quad headlights. In addition to the standard 300 horsepower V8 engine, all Lincoln Premiers of this model year were equipped with power seats, power steeri ng and electric windows. Painted an appropriate shade of pink this example is is equipped with an aftermarket air conditioning unit that Jayne Mansfield is believed to have had installed soon after taking delivery of the car.
