Shōdo-shima 小豆島

The second largest of the Seto Inland Sea's many islands, Shōdo-shima lies midway between the prefectures of Kagawa and Okayama in Shikoku and Honshū respectively. Known across Japan for its olive groves - a fact liberally exploited by its souvenir shops - the island is also popular for its autumn foliage and scenic views over the Inland Sea.
