Odesa (Одеса)

Ukraine's fourth-largest city and an important port, Odesa (Одесса or Odessa in Russian) was founded in 1794 during the reign of Catherine the Great. An elegant city of grand classical architecture, much of its heritage survived World War II intact and today it is a popular Black Sea resort and tourist destination.
