Hi I came her looking for a picture of a wold spider and found this site. I know these places. I lived in Spicewood. Across from Willie and we lived down the road from the Moon River Bar and Grill just outside the state park. We lived just off Old Ferry and then moved onto Pace Bend for a year before heading north back to Canada. I loved living there and as soon as this Canuck (Canadian) can get back there and out of Dallas, the happier I will be. Thanks for the memories and photos. Just makes me want to be back there even faster. Oh and my spider story...will save for another time...suffice it to say that my first encounter with a tarantula ended with my daughter and myself throwing a basketball sized rock on it as it kept charging us as we tried to go around it and into the house. Again...thanks and if you can send me a proper link to this site, I would love to come back and vist the entire place. My daughter's name is Tricia too!! LOL
