New Orleans was one of the most colorful and wonderful cities
I have had the opportunity to visit. I fell in love with
the Big Easy although my stay was short. Before Katrina,
one of my goals was to take my family there for Jazz Fest
and introduce them to the charms of this city.
I hope she can regain her former beauty.
Can you imagine some one would pave this city with concrete? I am from the next parish and know N.O. well. My ancestors build this city back in 1723 when it had only palmetto huts and Indians as friends. Surely, she will rise again. Shirley
