This remodel of an existing master bath involved removal of an older style jacuzzi tub and moving of the toilet. The new shower is located where the tub used to be and the toilet has moved to where the original shower stall was located.

This shower is open and accessible. It has a built in bench running the length of the window wall.
The vanity is 'adult height' at 36" with dual sinks with matching backsplash detail to match the shower. We increased the amount of lighting to make morning shaving and make up easier for this working couple.

This master suite is part of a three story addition. The lowest level is a garage/shop. The master suite, at the same level as the rest of this Nevada City home, is pictured here. The third level is a large, unfinished bonus room accessed from the second story of the original home.

The master bath has a large shower using subway tile marble for the walls and larger 12x12 for the floor. The tub is set in a granite counter. The (not pictured) vanity also has a granite counter. The shower features full body spray jets.

Adjacent is the walk in closet with organizers to maximize storage.

This remodel converted a secondary bedroom into the master bath. We shortened a hallway so access to this bath comes directly off the bedroom.

Frameless glass enclosure showcases the beauty of the marble shower with built in cubbies and a corner seat. We relocated the window on the right to maintain balance with the completed bath.

Additional work not pictured is a large walk in closet, which was converted from the original master bath.

Glass block is very flexible when designing showers--- almost any shape is possible!

The vanity has built in electrical outlets so accessories stay plugged in, out of sight, inside a drawer.

This bath is part of a larger master suite remodel. The original bedroom had 8' ceilings and a jack & jill bath that was convoluted. The owners felt they needed to do an addition to get the space they wanted.

After careful consideration of nearby property lines and a heritage oak tree, I proposed we absorb an adjacent closet (gaining two feet of width) and remove the flat ceiling by reframing the roof, from the inside out. The net result was a gain of 150% more volume in the bedroom!

Collaborating with the owners, we designed an open arch into the new master bath and installed a gas fireplace.
