Started in 1839 and completed in 1843, Muckross House is a massive building. It's very difficult to portray it's size in a photograph. Just the fact that the house has 365 windows gives you some idea. The house and grounds are now part of Killarney National park, which borders the town of Killarney. The former Muckross estate makes up the bulk of the park. The house is large and impressive, but the grounds is what really impressed me --- I should have taken more photos
