One very interesting tour we took is called "The Gap Of Dunloe." This tour starts out with a bus (coach) ride from Killarney to the base of the gap, a distance of about 14 miles. There we unload and board a horse and cart. Also called pony carts. The cart and driver carry us up and over one of the prettiest spots anywhere --- The Gap Of Dunloe. One the other side there is a remote Inn where we had lunch and then boarded a small boat with an outboard motor for a trip across the three lakes of Killarney and end up at Ross Castle just 2 miles from Killarney where the coach picks us up.
