24 Hours in Hong Kong (November 2005)

I landed at 8:00 PM Sunday evening and was scheduled to depart in exactly 24 hours. The exhaustion of touring Beijing was weighing heavily on my "get-up-and-go." A good night's sleep followed by two meetings just may leave me an ever-so-brief chance to visit Hong Kong before I head to the airport. I had been here once before, 8 or 9 years ago, also for about 24 hours. (I need more time!) The morning allowed a quick trip to the auspicious and venerable "Nine-Dragon Screen" I saw on my first visit. It was not until the later afternoon, however, under the threat of a thunderstorm, that I was able to find a few minutes free time for my D70 and me to explore a few square meters of this "World City."
