Three Days in Melbourne, Australia (November 2005)
After whirlwind tours of Hong Kong, Singapore and Wellington, it was a treat to have an extra day in Melbourne. A tour and lunch at the Tokar Estate, where I had the nicest Cabernet Savignon I've tasted in a long time, started the day. Next was a short romp through the Healesville Sancutary to visit wild life unique to Australia. Finally a trip to the top of Mt. Dandenong. The weather was slowly worsening, but we made the best of it and had a fine day. The next day brought an early morning stroll through a beautiful Melbourne park before the plane back home.
