In response to Walts statement....just wanted to let you all know that the Beautiful Trash cans is part of a community beautification project where artists can design a publically viewed receptacle. I proposed that I adorn a can using the "real green" on the metal, like I do here, for Soul Nature Art.

These would also look great on lots of Beautiful Trash Cans placed at businesses or Town Halls or Shopping Centers or....anywhere! Now to find sponsors...so we can get the cans and lids and sand and 32 gallon inside drums and pay Rena!

I am especially drawn to her pieces Fern Alley and Virginia Creeper. I love the use of reds and oranges to offset the variety of vibrating greens. Rena's work has energizing and healing qualities -- drawing attention to those qualities of mother earth that we so often overlook or take for granted. When viewing Rena's work, I am immediately transported to a fern-filled meadow or to acres of loamy woods where I feel whole again. Thank you Rena!

Rena has a beautiful soul connection with the earth and it is embodied in all of these pieces. I connect to Dance in the Forest, where each grass and leaf seems to be dancing, and Tree Guardian, where the knot in the wood is celebrated and seen in all it's glory. I own a piece of Rena's work and my heart sings when I look at and hold the wood that she has so lovingly adorned to bring out it's beautiful soul.

I love all the nature wood pieces and many of the prism light images. You seems to capture the beauty and bring out the spirit of each pieces for us to communicate more easily with their essence.

These pieces are the embodiment of the depth and breadth of the beauty that is all around us. They evoke a desire in me to go deep, deep into the woods and forests to absorb the energy and allow it to transform me. I particularly love "Tall Grasses"- it sings out to me and stirs a memory of tribal dances and community. Lovely and powerful, Rena. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.
