Lovely photos. My Gt. Grandfather rebuilt the Baptist Chapel with his business partner Geo. Wall. He also built the Primary School and also his house in The Street, Eastcome in 1860.

Thankyou, Sharon! You brought back many happy memories for me! My mum and dad retired to Bussage in 1966, and lived in a bungalow called "Woodvale". After mum died, Dad moved a couple of doors away to a cottage called "Maryvale" and we spent holidays with him there. Sadly they are no longer with us, but I remember all these places. Dad was at one time treasurer of the village hall!! My sister has links with Brownshill too, as she spent some time in St Raphaels before it belonged to its present owners.
