A recent trip to the Art Institute of Chicago lead to the creation of this gallery. In it, I hope to relay the textural essence of paintings that is absent from mass-produced prints. Additionally, as the gallery expands, it will focus on the multitude of scenes and stories found within the historically infamous paintings we are so familiar with.
Excellent work. Please do more.
One big difference between the masters and most of today's painters is in the past they didn't worry about finishing a painting in 10 minutes. And too they weren't trying to be cheap with the paint. Most painters today are way too lazy and seek the path of least resistance.
