Palmer

A true palmer cocker built by Craig, called the "purdy milled Palmer Cocker" on the palmer website. Ravi reviewed one of their early mini cocker conversion offerings back in the 90's giving it a good review aside from some cosmetic issues. the milling and performance for this one derives from that lineage, including the swiss cheese style milling, but the chrome and nickel have been replaced by this green/black/gold splash anno. Now, its pretty well known that theres some not so friendly history between the Palmers and the Orr's, especially over the auto cocking mechanism. The Palmers have also been less then thrilled with the slide trigger idea, instead focusing on the hinge style for their normal offerings. Its truly a shame, because if this is what they can do with a slider, the world missed out. I've always had trouble with hinges, and that includes Typhoons/Blazers/Strokers etc. This gun blows em all away. This is the second cocker that I have owned that I have a feeling my finger is more limiting then the trigger is capable of, so this one takes its place as either first or second fastest mech trigger in my collection. The barrel is a Palmers Brass barrel, which has a very good reputation, though has slipped into obscurity in this day of mass produced barrles and kits. Although it pained me to do it, I actually replaced the palmers grips with a set of custom grips from Robertsr of MCB.
