Wildside "Ride the Lightening"

Some of you know that one of the guns on my most wanted list is a top end from JD at Wildside. JD was a little known, but very high end and talented customizer that never got the fame or volume of the big names. He specialized in doing true custom cockers, Building what the buyer wanted, how they wanted it. His milling was typically milder then many of the other guys, but usually that was to trim weight and provide a nice surface for having nice anno's done.

Well, thanks to an MCB'er, I got one. This is one is named "Ride the Lightening" and along with her Sister "Bad Moon Rising" are a pair that were built and annoed in PK Selectives "Thunderstruck" anno (debuted at about 750 IIRC, current list IF they will even do it is $1000). The milling is very subtle, but took a good bit of material off the body, and the grips are actually blue SP wood grips. Unfortunately, this gun has had a somewhat tragic history and is no longer in anything like original condition. At some point, the pneus were replaced. That unfortunately, is not the real damage. the wife of a former owner wanted a semiauto PGP and the frame was taken off and milled out to build the PGP. Ken (KPCS on here) ended up with the PGP and returned the frame to the current owner shortly before I purchased the gun (also with Kens help in reestablishing contact with the owner, thanks again Ken). Luckily, most of the damage can't be seen without close inspection. This one came with three match annoed Longshots and stock and was designed for remote play using CO2. The item with two knobs and nipple is a Cooper T duel bottle adapter, allowing the use of two bottles.

As far as pneumatics go, I decided to go with period parts, however, I do not know if they match the original. The only original photo I have of this gun is with the shroud on and it plainly shows a full size rock sticking out. The photo's of the sister gun show full ANS pnues, though other Wildside guns show other front ends (Wildside built to order after all). So, Unless I can find out what was original, I think I am in ok shape.
