PMS Mark 2

Name: Mark 2
Manufacturer: PMS/Nitroduck
Airsmith: Mark Davis
MSRP: depending on specs $1500 (including air and barrel)
Date: 1997 - 2001?
Rarity: **

The PMS Mark series (2 and 3) were the product of Mark Davis, another airsmith who never really got the recognition he deserved and who would later work at BBT alongside Danny Love. Produced in the mid to late 90's they were contemporaries of the BBT Stage 10's, Boston Expresses and Evolutions, and for the time were a top end gun, though were eventually passed by the times. Although I occassionally see them for sale, a complete, unaltered one is pretty rare, on par with finding a twister. Very few vert feeds were produced, probably enough to be counted on one hand.

This was a gun I acquired locally, although not in perfect shape and with the annoying team name painted on (I'll find a way to get it off), its still in decent condition overall. The tank is the original Nitroduck system and is out of date, 114 ci and only a 3k. Although an excellent system at the time, it’s unlikely I'll bother re-hydroing it any time in the near future. As you can see, it was all match annoed, but its not really worth it. The barrel is an OTP, its not really a design I am all that fond of since the sizers only work at the breech. The OTP bolt has also never been high on my list, although decent; I prefer the non slingshot style. The body on this one was drilled before annoing for the electro kit, but I have had it confirmed it never had the electro kit installed, however it does date it as a later gun. The parts are ANS (by no means my favorite) but they are in good condition and so far I have had no issues with them. The milling is very typical of the PMS cockers and the anno is of good quality. Despite the parts I don't like, this is a top of the line gun, and performs every bit as well as other very high end cockers.
