Over 30 years ago now, in July 1975, a group of Boy Scouts sat around a
campfire on the Colorado plains - looking skyward for a tiny orbiting dot.
And when we saw it we all shouted together "Apollo Suyuz" - our voices
drifting out into the Peaceful Valley night.

Some of us still remember, and wait for an echo....

In the photo above, Vladimir Boyko deploys a computer controlled satellite tracking antenna system that he designed and built for use in HAM radio.

20 years ago, in the Cold War, Vladimir and his associates created devices that would have been used to locate and kill me and my associates.

Today, Vlad is my friend and we work together.

Apollo Soyuz - mission accomplished.
