I saw her chasing the Magpies on the first day. A week later she has claimed the territory and there was a male, (which has a bluish grey back) probably her mate. I was hoping that gthey would stay but when I returned two weeks later they were gone and the magpies were back!
Merlin is a rare visitor in South China.
