The Peralta Trails Dark Sky Observers held their first public event to observe Astronomy Day, 2008.
Preparations have been in the works for several months and the event included telescope observations of the Sun, Moon, planets and clusters as well as computer based demonstrations in the main clubhouse room. 20 residents attended and 2 door prizes were awarded. Here a a few pictues from the event.
