Mike Brown's big and beautiful Grumman F7F-3N Tigercat as seen at Reno in 2004. Named Big Bossman, this aircraft is the only Tigercat to actually complete a race. And it has done that often appearing at Reno and Pylon Racing Seminar every year since Mike Brown purchased the aircraft from the Lone Star Museum in Galveston, Texas. The Tigercat was built for WWII but it arrived to late to see action in that conflict. It did see action during the Korean War. Only around six examples are still airworthy.
