Badagry Creek is located a couple of miles north of Lagos harbour, Nigeria. People make their living with the lease of beach huts and fishing.

i'm proud to have grown in badagry and turningout well, as an actress and a mother. bagary is the door of civilization,first christainity and march of the next,the follow orders and regulations and yorubas with eguns were at rest.god bless badagry and the aholu menutoyi 1 of badagry,oba akran aweh.

Badagry is an interesting place to visit, Badagry people are always happy to receive visitors, there are alot of tourism activities within the town which include beaches, I'm very sure you will enjoy the town.

Coming to Nigeria to alot of people outside the country is always unsafe country to foreigners, I have to tell you frankly 95% of people from other part of the world that have visited Nigeria NEVER want to go back to their country, they still keep coming back, It's a lovely country to visit, the citizens are friendly and accomodating, You will agree with me that there is no safe place in the world, I have travelled to many country in the world that seem not safe for me, Nigeria is not worst as people try to picture the country.

I am from Badagry and I have worked in the Niger Delta, the community is not as bad as they're been pictured, Though kidnapping and other form of hostages are happening there but the numbers of foreigners are not reducing at the highly unsafe part of the country, there some political ambition by some foreigners to dominate certain part of the country most expecially Niger Delta by discouraging other foreigners with the intention of coming to Nigeria. Try to remember people you know that have visited Nigeria, are they still visiting or come back to work in Nigeria? if yes, why are they returning to unsafe country?

I will encourage you to visit Nigeria and after tell the world the truth about the country.

Your photos from Nigeria and principally from Badagary are very beautiful. I saw others photos from Nigeria by Emiel Jegen, they are also amazing. It is good to see them because it is really rare good photos and information from your country. Thanks!
About your question… probably I will go to Badagary next year to work in a project. So, I would like to know more about there. Sorry! But, in general, information are not good about Nigeria, as it I am a little bit worried to go there. Could you give more details? Did you lived in Badagary?
And about you, what about was your doctoral project in there?
