Park visitors are warned that bull elks can be very aggressive during the rut. In the night, a bull elk (maybe this one http://www.pbase.com/witsend/image/139592599) attacked this parked truck leaving no doubt how aggressive they can be.
Something to keep in mind during the deer rut in Ottawa.
