At Home in Kohoku-cho

June 5, 2004 - August 14, 2004

Though the program takes place in the neighboring town of Biwa-cho, I live with the Akai family (mom Michiko, dad Kazuo, brother Yukinori, dog Wan-chan (real name Dan-chan), and grandma known only as obaa-chan) in Kohoku-cho at the base of Mt. Yamamoto. Each day, I had to ride a bike from Kohoku to Biwa, but that only gave me more opportunities to explore. Here are some photos from the house and the surrounding communities.
