Finally,I got to pay this place a visit, the last remaining Einstein residence in Germany.It is located on Waldstrasse in Caputh, 25 miles from Berlin. Unfortunately the original furniture was lost but was replaced with specimens from the architect's collection. A few pictures were taken in sepia to compare them with old archive material. It really does evoke the spirit of the place!The architecture is a wild mix of New Sobriety , French Colonial and German Gemütlickeit
