On this beautiful Mothers Day in May, I scooted the three blocks from our house down to the community park. It gets its name--the Pier Park--because of the piers jutting out into Lake St. Clair. This small peninsula of land has just about everything one could want in a waterfront park. But I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
