Dancin' at Detroit's Electronic Music Festival 2007
When DJ Pepo Lanzoni began his set at 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, dancers started congregating at the Pyramid Riverfront Stage. Not just any dancers, but those who were comfortable being the center of attention. At first there were about a half dozen fellows, but soon the women from the Main Stage joined them, and one by one other people showed up, ready to take their turn in the center of the circle. As time went on, the crowd around them grew larger, and, of course, cameras and camcorders were everywhere. I'd guess I took 150 pix myself, but I've tried to put up only my favorites. That's still A LOT, so I'd recommend viewing this rather large gallery via the slideshow. It'll go faster and you'll get a sense of the energy and motion that was in full evidence.
