This is a Skipper, but I am not sure which? It could be Neamathla, Swarthy, or after looking at Dun, could be that? I guess that is what makes them interesting, being hard to pin down.

I think this is a Dun Skipper, at least that is what it looks like in my book.

I was waiting on a Hummingbird shot and this dark butterfly was on a flower next to me. The first time I have ever noticed this species. Amazing the new things you notice when you try to ID them. I have probably seen them before but paid no attention.
